This wedding took place in Lago del Rey, in Guadalajara, a magical setting with a lake, perfect for a nupcial union to spark romance and elegance. The civil ceremony was held in from of the lake, and we set a cuppa with foliage and white roses. Chairs for the guests were covered in cherry blossom, and we offered a table of assorted cheese and cold meats, cocktail drinks and cantaritos. For the reception, main colors present were white, ivory silver and rose gold. We set up a double organic structure around the dance floor, creating the illusion of waves made of crystal, as well as giant metallic trees with crystals hanging at each four corners of the dance floor. Next to the dance floor, there was a round stage for the newly weds, covered with candles in the front steps. Tall, white cherry blossoms served as centerpieces for the glass and mirror tables, surrounded by rose and copper chairs. There were also high centerpieces made of white flowers—roses, phalaenopsis orchis, peonies, tulips, hydrangeas, dendrobium orchids and lisianthks. The A mariachi band consisting of 40 elements played when the bride and groom entered the venue, and later, the event was liven up by DJ Willy. Guests were regaled with a banquet by Cocina de Guille and a junk bar by Timbal de Azúcar, which was decorated à la Ladurée. There was also a giant mazapán weighting 300 kg and measuring 1 m of diameter.
