International Film Festival
A mixture of art deco with elements of Chinese and Greek cultures set the mood for this movie screening at Eden Roc, which took place from January 16th til January 19th. The movies presented were Santo Domingo, Nebaj, the final season of Power series, and Angel Has Fallen. The entrance of the venue had an Instagram spot to take pictures, with lots of angel statues and foliage, and inside there was Dominican Tropical green foliage, hanging lamps and chandeliers, art deco chairs and European-industrial sofas. We built a pallet inside the cave of Eden Roc, so as to create a natural ambiance.
For the cocktail of this festival, we set a red carpet along the main lobby of Eden Roc. Decoration was the same, with a thousand candles, big china-porcelain pieces, silver chandeliers, Greek marble bases and foliage. The banquet was in charge of Eden Roc, and they served Moët Chandon champagne.
Hundreds of candles lined a white carpet that led the guests to the lobby of Marina Bay, where a press wall with the logos of Cana Dorada and Power was set up. Inside, the furniture consisted of mirror tables and silver tall chairs, decorated with candles and crystal bases. Nicole Slack Jones and Dj Ravin Indian inspired the guests with their music, while Sanctuary delighted them with a delicious banquet.
Inspired in Hollywood of the 50’s, an art deco ticket booth and logo of Cana Dorada stood at the entrance of the gala. A red carpet ran all the way from the entrance to the party, where 100 elegant crystal chandeliers of varying sizes hung over golden tables and chairs ornamented with big red rose ball centerpieces. Juan Magán and Gemma Doyle set the mood throughout the night.
